The history of the lizard.When I first applied for internet access many years ago I chose Demon as my ISP. I had to pick a "nodename", well I hadn't got any idea what that was, so I chose lizard. This was because I had just been on holiday and I had visited Lizard Point, the most southerly point on the UK mainland. Well, lizard had already been taken, so I was allocated lizard1.
